This Privacy Policy describes how SAEM ENERGOMONTAJ S.A., located at 103-105 Dorobanți Av., 1st District, Bucharest, Romania, 010561, registered with the Trade Registry under number J40/1555468/1991, CUI 1555468 (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "We"), collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal data of users of the website www.saem.ro (hereinafter referred to as "the Site").

Careers Form: When you apply for a position, we collect the following data:
Full name
Email address
Phone number
Location (city only)
Curriculum Vitae (CV) - a document that may include other personal data (e.g., experience, education, skills, photographs, if included by you).
Contact Form: When you contact us through the form available on the Site, we collect:
Full name
Email address
Any other personal data you choose to include in your message.
Browsing and usage data of the Site: Through Google Analytics, we collect anonymized information about how you interact with the Site, including anonymized IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on the Site. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify an individual.
2. Purposes of collection and legal basis
We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
Managing job applications:
Purpose: Evaluating applications, contacting candidates, organizing the recruitment and selection process.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests of the Company to recruit qualified personnel and, in the pre-contractual phase, necessary steps for concluding an employment contract.
Responding to your requests (contact form):
Purpose: Processing and responding to questions, requests, or comments submitted through the contact form.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests of the Company to provide support and communicate effectively with its audience.
Improving and optimizing the Site:
Purpose: Analyzing how the Site is used to improve functionality, content, and user experience.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests of the Company to provide a high-quality and relevant Site.
3. Who do we disclose your data to?
Your personal data may be disclosed strictly on a need-to-know basis and in accordance with the mentioned purposes:
Internal Company staff: (e.g., Human Resources department, managers of the departments for which recruitment is being conducted).
Service providers: (e.g., Google Analytics for web traffic analysis, hosting or maintenance service providers for the Site, if applicable). These providers are contractually obligated to maintain data confidentiality.

4. Data transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, which may transfer data (anonymized) to the United States of America. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
5. How long do we store your data?
Data from the Careers form (CVs and related information): We store them for a maximum period of 12 months from their receipt, in order to consider your application for current or future positions. After this period, the data will be deleted or anonymized, unless we obtain your explicit consent for longer storage.
Data from the Contact form: We store this data for the time necessary to resolve your request and for a reasonable period thereafter, in order to respond to any subsequent questions related to the same communication.
Browsing data (Google Analytics): These are stored according to Google Analytics policies, typically for periods ranging from 14 months to 50 months, in aggregated and anonymized format.
6. Data security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These include, but are not limited to, data encryption (where applicable), the use of HTTPS protocols, access control to IT systems, and staff training.

In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
