POLICY REGARDING WORK OF UNDERAGE LABOR

S.C. ENERGOMONTAJ S.A management is concerned in carrying out practical actions of fighting against underage labor use, because this phenomenon affects the healthy growth and education of children, on one hand, and the image, reputation and sustainable development of the company, on the other.

The main contribution in fighting against underage labor use is the fact that the organization prohibits to all employees to participate to or to approve the use of minors and ensures that suppliers and subcontractors observe the legislation in force regarding the work of children. The company also ensures that, if suppliers and subcontractors are using children as labor force, they are not exposed to any danger.

S.C. ENERGOMONTAJ S.A management takes care that only the staff who turned 18 years is employed.

S. C. Energomontaj S. A. has built a control system for suppliers and subcontractors, asking them to sign a commitment to comply with the requirements of SA 8 000: 2008.

If the organization finds a situation in which suppliers / subcontractors have forced a child to work, then it will require them to enforce a general program of actions for minors who are found to work.

S.C. ENERGOMONTAJ S.A. management pledges to communicate to all interested parties the policy and commitments on fighting against the use of underage labor.

Implementation of policy on fighting against the use of underage labor is both the objective of management at the highest level of our organization and the objective each employee. Thus the entire staff of the organization has an obligation to be actively engaged in implementing all commitments assumed under this policy.
