POWER EQUIPMENT FACTORY (P.E.F.)
As erection works evolved a new industrial manufacturing unit had to be created.
Initially each site had its own mechanical workshop which was carrying out such works,
but in 1962 a centralized section for "Metallic structures" was set up.
As a result of diversifying the activities in 1977 this section turned into the Industrial
Production Section", the current
POWER EQUIPMENT FACTORY (P.E.F)
The factory has 221 employees and different workshops of which we are mentioning the following:
Metallic structures - with a production capacity of 150 -200 tons
per month. It has at its disposal rolling machines that are able to roll
pieces of maximum 30mm in thickness and a maximum width of 3,000mm;
Machine works-pieces of maximum 1,250 mm may be lathed horizontally or vertically;
Protective coatings-metallic coatings may be performed, in two
immersions, for pieces of maximum 3,200 x 500 x 800 mm.
Also pieces of maximum O 4,000 x 16,000 mm may be painted;
Tools and different devices;
Repairs of equipment repairs and means of transportation.
FEE stretches on an area of 25,000 sqm, of which: workshops - 7,000 sqm, platforms - 3,400 sqm, confined storing spaces -800sqm, and open storing spaces - 4,500 sqm.
The 5 m height of the access doors in the shops, allows the handling of large pieces.
Due to high quality and promptness of manufacturing different products, 25 % of the total production was carried to be exported.
We are hoping that all these data stand proof of our capabilities and quality of the
metallic structures and repair works performed by us.

> air and exhaust gases ducts, convective coils (of) pipes for
420 t/h boilers, electrostatic precipitator supporting, supporting
beams, trusses, poles, tanks, funnels, hydro mechanical
metallic structures, embedded pieces, cofferdams.
> containers and metallic barracks, equalizers (lenticular,
octagonal or rectangular), flapper valves of different drives;
> elements for high and low pressure pipelines and for
buckled pipes.

(special corrosion protections);

> chemical wash with pipelines passivation;

Overhauls for any type of light and heavy mechanical equipment.

Heavy mechanical equipment:

As it belongs to ENERGOMONTAJ S.A., F.E.E. is carrying on its activity
based on a quality management
system correspnding to the requirements of SR EN ISO 9001/ 2008.
That is why it has obtained certificates and authorizations from the
institutions that have audited it.

In our laboratories we are capable of carrying out
destructive and non-destructive tests for materials and welds,
as well as measurements of protective coatings thickness.
