HYDRO DIVISION
The HYDRO DIVISION was set up following the development of several ENERGOMONTAJ S.A.
units specialised in carrying out the works related to installation and
manufacture of hydro - mechanical and power equipment.
The Hydro Division has units all over the territory, ensuring the possibility to perform the works in any area of our country, both individually and in co - operation with other ENERGOMONTAJ S.A. units.
The competence and qualification of Hydro Division experts is guaranteed by the large experience accumulated by installing more than 110 hydroelectric power stations with an installed capacity of more than 6000 MW.
It will be observed that ENERGOMONTAJ S.A. performs works related to all hydroelectric power plants, from dams and by-passes to power station, both on mechanic and electric part.

- CHE Bicaz (Francis turbines: 4 x 27.5 MW and 2 x 50 MW and 2 penstocks diameter of 3.8 - 4.2 m, length 154 m);
- CHE Lotru (Pelton turbines: 3 x 174 MW and lining of penstock diameter of 4 m and a length of 1,300 m);
- CHE Arges ( Francis turbines: 4 x 55 MW and lining of surge tank diameter 4.1 m, height 184 m);
- P & N System Portile de Fier I ( Kaplan turbines: 6 x 178 MW and sliuices 31/ 310 m at a elevation of 27 m);
- P & N System Portile de Fier II (Bulb turbines: 16 x 27 MW ) and sluices 34/ 310 m at a elevation of 16.5 m.
